Prufrock/Alienation
for quad-channel fixed media
Work completed: December 2017
Duration: 5'
Prufrock/Alienation is a brief painting of the uncertain, conflicted feelings that arise as a consequence of human isolation. This is achieved through a rough programmatic following of the famous Eliot poem, “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock,” a work which explores similar concepts.
NOTE: The original piece was mixed for quad-channel surround sound. The version you are hearing is a web-compatible stereo mix, which includes every sound of the original but lacks the intended effect of depth.
